Always enjoy coming here. It is quiet and peaceful. Sunsets are gorgeous.
This community park is located in the prettiest part of Melbourne Beach, right off the river and a short walk or drive from the library, shopping, and the beach. Amenities include a nice playground for children, a huge pavilion, and two historic buildings.
Pretty and lots of shade. Nice walk to the pier and good for all ages!
This park is always a fun place to go. The playgrounds are safe for children; the tennis courts are kept up, as well as the lawn. Plenty of shade to enjoy the scenery. The boardwalk for the river is absolutely wonderful to walk. During the fourth of July, it is a great view for fireworks! This is a very family-friendly park to go to on a nice weekend.
Wish I could have gotten more pictures of the park but this was all that came out. We happened upon this when we didn't turn on A1A and ended up at this park. There were benches, picnic tables, a gazebo and looks to be model of an old timey Florida shack but I'm not sure. We didn't stay too long but it looked like the folks fishing off the pier were happy.
